Job Description

Cintas is currently looking for an Event Marketing Intern. Essential functions will include: assisting in the planning and execution of Marketing events and materials, which may include multi-day conferences, on-site events, off-site meetings, internal meetings and luncheons, brochure design, communication material and print material design.

  1. Coordinate dinner and hotel reservations

  2. Order materials for events

  3. Assist with shipping and packaging materials / gifts for events

  4. Assist with customer registration and badges

  5. Provide on-site support for local events

  6. Assist Cintas locations with event support

  7. Update PowerPoint templates

  8. Update department communication material

  9. Track event costs

  10. Process invoices

  11. Assist team with training material design and distribution



  • High school diploma/GED

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Business Management, Marketing or a closely related degree

  • 2.8 cumulative GPA or higher at the time of application and it must be on the submitted resume

  • Strong written and verbal skills necessary to interact with vendors, internal customers, and external customers

  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work for the duration of the internship

  • Must be able to work 20+ hours per week

  • Must be able to work starting in January 2020, but not later than February 2020


  • Experience with web page layout, designing marketing materials

  • Ability to travel at least one time during the internship (company paid)
