Cintas Fire Service Technician In-Training Sprinkler Systems in Norcross, Georgia

Cintas is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice at Cintas Fire Protection. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who would like to learn a trade in the Fire Protection industry. This position provides valuable work experience by working alongside a technician in the service, inspection and repair of sprinkler systems. Our 20-month training approach combines on the job training, online and classroom instruction. This candidate will be paired with a qualified technician to provide on the job training. Cintas partners with outside vendors to provide additional instruction. Our progressive training program will provide the tools and certifications to convert to a qualified Fire Sprinkler Technician, wherein the job duties will include conducting service calls, systems testing and inspections to the prescribed standards, performing on-site emergency repairs of our customer’s sprinkler systems and identifying non-conformances to Code.
High School Diploma/GED
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong problem solving skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Valid driver's license
Experience in the Fire Protection industry
Experience with Sprinkler Systems, Engineered Systems, Pre-Engineered Systems, Alarm Systems, Kitchen Systems
Experience with trades such as HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical or plumbing
