Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Manager of Business Analytics. The Manager will lead analytics activities for the Global Supply Chain Division. Responsibilities include identifying new areas of opportunity for the business, developing solutions for implementation, and working closely with the Process Improvement and Change Management teams. This role will manage a team and provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Apply organization and process knowledge to connect resources to meet project timelines and requirements.

  • Attend meetings to understand business requirements; organize and prioritize open projects based upon business requirements.

  • Benchmark externally to ensure best practices are used with people, processes, and technology.

  • Employ team effectively and assign decision making and other responsibilities to appropriate team members based upon expertise and availability.

  • Lead projects that support the strategic initiatives of the division and Cintas as a whole. Lead team in successful implementation of projects by staffing projects with correct resources, keeping projects on time and on budget, break down barriers for team and assist in prioritization of project work, and provide project updates to executive leadership on project steering committees as well as updates to project stakeholders.

  • Provide consultation and coaching to partners when elements of the project escalate. Train partners to use six sigma and change management tools when applicable to problem solving tasks.

  • Be fluent in technological and business terminology to successfully reduce complex ideas to simple terms using comparisons and metaphors when working with partners not familiar to specific processes. Actively work with team, partners, and development resources to ensure our partners have an open work environment and are aware of development opportunities.

  • Drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for team projects, use in status reports to Director of Analytics and project stakeholders.

  • Develop the skills and competences of all partners through training and development activities related to current and future functions of the job. Establish partner’s goals and objectives. Identify future managers and document development plans through succession planning process.

  • Develop and manage partners that may work in multiple geographic locations. Ensure team cohesiveness despite geographic differences.

  • Ensure partners are trained properly in all aspects of their positions to maintain satisfactory performance levels.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned, including carrying out responsibilities, performing duties, using skills, and working in conditions necessary to perform all assigned tasks.

Skills/Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • At least three years of applicable experience.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree
