Cintas Import/Export Specialist in Mason, Ohio

Job Description

The Supply Chain Division of Cintas is looking for an Import/Export Specialist to coordinate the movement of shipments to and from vendors by providing accurate documentation in compliance with U.S. Customs requirements. The Import/ Export Specialist will communicate with vendors, freight forwarders, customs brokers and transportation carriers to ensure efficient movement of goods across borders. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, applying knowledge of Schedule B classifications and trade agreements, monitoring, tracing and confirming the status/arrival of air, ground and ocean shipments, preparing commercial invoices and facilitating customs clearance by reviewing and correcting shipper commercial invoices.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Strong analytical and thinking skills

  • Proven ability to adapt to rapidly changing directives and priorities

  • Must be able to establish effective professional business relationships at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively as a member of the team

  • Knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, and Intranet

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • One year of import/export experience with knowledge of Free Trade Agreements and classifications

  • Bilingual (Spanish)

High School Diploma/GED (+11 years)
