Cintas Cloud Engineer - Level 3 - GCP in Mason, Ohio

Job Description

Cintas is currently looking for a Cloud Engineer Level 3-GCP who will be primarily focused on Google Cloud Platform based applications and related integrations to SAP ERP, and will be responsible for: working on small to large complex IT projects providing technical knowledge to enable business processes and designing, implementing and optimizing cloud architectures and associated support duties; and maintaining a high level of competency regarding the configuration of Google Cloud Platform by staying abreast of new trends, future enhancements, and leveraging best practices.

Job duties include:

  • Designing, prototyping, implementing, supporting, and optimizing Google Cloud Platform applications and related business processes in Cintas

  • Documenting technical specifications implemented as per cloud best practices

  • Providing technical guidance on oversight on project development efforts

  • Learning new skills in cloud computing and IoT space

  • Mentoring and guiding junior resources on team

  • Performing testing based on business requirement understanding



  • High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Minimum 6 years of work experience in Information Technology

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in implementation and development of cloud-based applications

  • Minimum 2 years of development experience on backend technologies, such as Go programming language

  • Minimum 1 year of experience managing, deploying, and setting up Kubernetes engine

  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency with the implementation and support of cloud solutions


  • Exposure to Google Cloud Platform and associated technologies

  • Cloud platform certifications
