Cintas Washfloor Operator - Rental in Denver, Colorado

Job Summary : The Washfloor Operator is responsible for operating manual and/or automatic industrial laundering equipment to clean large volumes of products and garments (e.g. shirts, pants, lab coats, aprons, linens, rugs).

Job Functions:

Essential Functions :

  • Pulls carts from the unloading/back dock area onto the washfloor or pulls bags of laundry on a trolley to stage onto the washfloor.

  • Empties soiled laundry into machines by manually opening bags or using foot pedals.

  • Uses discretion to prioritize work flow so that the day’s laundry is done in the most efficient manner possible and keeping all departments supplied with the appropriate amount of work.

  • Reads and interprets charts for chemical formulas to determine appropriate detergent type and amount.

  • Manually loads machines as applicable to the appropriate load weights.

  • Programs machines, selecting washing cycles and settings to ensure that all settings are correct for the type and color of garments being washed and dried.

  • Ensures appropriate settings and selections are made for each load.

  • Performs trouble shooting and resolves machine error messages

Non-Essential Functions :

  • May unload laundry from machines and operate industrial dryers.
