Cintas Apparel Production Coordinator in Chicago, Illinois

Job Description

The Apparel Production Coordinator will be responsible for all facets of wardrobe, accessory and prop styling for DSSM photo and video shoots. This includes on-set or location styling of apparel, stylized off-figure, on-figure model and mannequin set-ups using styling techniques and tools to present the best overall look of the apparel in a fashion-forward approach.

The stylist will be responsible for:

  • Confirm garments and shot list accurately match align

  • Prep garments for photo shoot appropriately

  • Style garments (pinning, hemming, etc.) to ensure proper fit whether on model or mannequin

  • Reflect the customer’s brand and standards through their apparel program

  • Follow established photo guidelines and art direction for each project

  • Create set ups for stylized off-figure shots to differentiate brand offerings and bring a unique approach to model shots through styling techniques

  • Stylist will also assist in styling mannequins for customer presentations, styling and fitting models for fashion shows, model castings, shop for accessories such as shoes, jewelry, props, etc.

  • Develop trend boards and ideas for future creative direction

  • Remain up-to-date on all current fashion trends and help break ground for the future of how we go to market

Skills/Qualifications

Required:

  • 3 - 5 years of on-set styling experience

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Art, Merchandising, Marketing, Photography or related field
